Challenge Series Gets Potential Title Sponsor
We are pleased to announce that the FFR Challenge
Series has begun the initial
procedures to accept a two year $50,000 sponsorship arrangement with
Cobra Powersports-TGB.
Cobra Powersports is the US distributor for TGB, leading manufacturers
of
scooters and ATVs. In addition to being ideal at the track, the
products
from Cobra Powersports are perfect for a variety of applications. TGB
products feature an industry leading 2-year warranty with unlimited
miles.
Cobra Powersports entire range of products can be found at
www.cobrasales.com.
In their new role as sponsor for the series, all cars would run
Cobra
Powersports decals. A combination of cash and prizes would be
distributed
throughout the year to racers who participate in their local NASA races.
For those of you who may not know, Bill Peirce is the owner of Cobra
Powersports and also an enthusiastic supporter of the series as the
owner
of ffcars.com. Bill is helping the series in other ways as well and
has
certainly been a good friend to us. He also supported the series with a
variety of awards at the 2005 Nationals held at VIR.
Exact details on the program will be appearing on the FFRChallenge.com
website shortly. The program basically will work the same as all of our
other
programs in that it is participation-based and not just weighted to the
winners.
We have some other arrangements being finalized, but the expectation is
that the FFR Challenge Series will be one of the best
funded
club racing programs in the country.
So start thinking about where you'll put your stickers and what pit bike
you are going to order! |
