Driver Keith Delaney and Sponsor/Builder SoFast Racing clinched
the SCCA Oregon Region SPM 2004 Title with their Challenge
Series car!
Like so many Challenge car owners, Keith has been racing not
only in the FFR-NASA Challenge Series, but also in SCCA and Club
racing events with his spec car. In SCCA, Keith was forced to
compete in the Super Production class, medium, against cars
costing thousands of dollars more. Time and time again thru the
season the Challenge car would sneak into the top three and
surprise everyone.
SoFast Racing Team owner and builder Farra Snook and his wife
Kim were understandably proud of their victory. SoFast has
built a reputation on winning car shows and builds really high
end street cars. The racing effort is only a few years old and
the company has some serious racing plans for next season.

SoFast Racing has has done more than just win on the track.
Farra and Kim are actively involved with the Cascade Sports Car
Club and the club’s annual Doernbacher Dash. This event is a
fundraiser for the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland
Oregon. This years’ event was the 20th annual,
raising $18,000 for the pediatric heart transplant unit. Farra
and Kim were joined by FFR racer Bob Evans from Evans Racing at
this event where kids were given “mock” race car rides for
thrills.
Factory Five sends out our congratulations to the team at SoFast
Racing and thanks to Nancy Thompson for the information and
photos. Great Job! |
