First East Coast Challenge Race of
2005 right around the corner! |
|
We are less than 6
weeks away from the first race on the Ohio/Indiana schedule. It is also
the first race of the highly competitive East Coast Series. This years
first event will be held on April 2-3 at the
Mid-Ohio
Sprots Car Complex in Lexington, Ohio.
As always, this event promises to be a well attended and challenging
event. Not only will the drivers be concerned with navigating a quick
and exciting track but will probably deal with ever changing weather
conditions all weekend. In the past this weekend has had everything from
beautiful spring weather, to high winds, to rain and fog, and even snow
and freezing temperatures.
This weekend will have a traditional double sprint race on Saturday and
Sunday. There will also be a practice day available Friday April 1 (no
fooling). This event usually sells out, so don't wait until the last
minute to register.
One week later, April 8-10, will be the first event held in the newly
formed Midwest Region of NASA. We will be visiting the famous
Road
America circuit in Elkhrat Lake, WI.
Come and race or come and watch. Either way it is going to be a blast!
See you at the track!
