RICHMOND, CA - May 13, 2008. The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce that Factory Five Racing will offer a generous $10,000 in cash rewards to the top finishers in the Factory Five Challenge series race during the 3rd annual NASA Championship event at the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course on September 11-14th, 2008.

Factory Five Racing Chief Executive Officer David Smith said, “The Factory Five Challenge series is very important to our company because it showcases one of the vehicles we offer and allows the world to see how fun and competitive these cars are right out of the box. We’re very pleased so many racers have embraced the Factory Five Challenge series and hope this program demonstrates our continued commitment to the class and our gratefulness to those racers. Our hope for all the FFR racer’s is that they continue to enjoy racing their Factory Five Challenge cars and that this program helps them to continue doing so in the future.”

The cash award program will apply to the FFR challenge series at the NASA Championship event for the main championship race. To be eligible for this National Championship cash award program, the competitor must compete in a minimum of five Factory Five Challenge Series regional races before taking part in the National Championship weekend. Any competitor that does not meet this requirement will not be eligible for the FFR cash program. The program will award drivers cash payouts in the following amounts.
